How are you hanging your bows?

I have tried many straps. Tethrd HYS strap I felt was too bulky. HME strap with plastic hooks , that worked ok . DIY strap with movable loops was ok also, but I always seem to go back to my DIY paracord daisy chains with a nightize cam jam and a 3D Genesis printed bow holder. Super lightweight and compact. Fast and easy to set-up and take down.

I use one of the ITO pocket dewclaw hangers on their amsteel setup with three additional hooks. I've been very happy with it after using it all last season.

Pros
- non metallic
- ultra lightweight and compact
- holds my bow securely
- easy to hang quietly in the dark
- extra 3d printed hooks to hang my range finder, grunt tube, etc.

Only con I have found was that I feel more comfortable hanging my pack off of a carabiner on my backup tether to get it lower than where the rest of my gear hangs. I think they actually make a hook accessory to drop down lower, but I haven't purchased one yet.

This thread remind me to fix my hero clip. I took the end down enough to get a clean release. Got some black stealth strip coming & once everything is re-wrapped I’ll be set.

I disassembled a large "cable cuff" and use that for my hook. Fits my rifle sling, and would fit a crossbow stirrup if I had one of those. So I can use the same gear hanger regardless of my method of take.

If you get some 1"x1/8" aluminum flat stock you can make a hook like @bowhunthard88 showed, put it between your sight body and quiver mount. Unless you have threaded holes on your riser above your sight holes; I'm not sure why Bowtech tapped all these holes but it's nice that they did. Attach a similar hook to your quiver, offset so the hooks don't interfere with each other on the bow. The quiver is light enough that you could get by with a piece of coathanger and duct tape, unless you post a bunch on Instagram in which case you'll want a more elegant solution.

It's worth pointing out that if you attach anything to your bow you'll want to verify your point-of-impact after the change. And to check for differences in point-of-impact with and without your quiver attached.

Anyone use one of these?

I use a hys strap and a hero clip. I go up through one webbing loop and down through the next or skip one with the clip so it hold the clip solid on the strap with tension. Then turn the hook perpendicular to the clip and tree and hang my bow. I’ve never had issues getting it off like that

I use something similar to this. Sturdy, rotates, and fits into your HYS strap or on any other strap. Put some tape on the metal and your good! There are some that have a smaller profile also. This is just an example.IMG_4486.png
