How do you carry antlers for rattling?

I know the simple answer is 'strap them to your backpack', but I am curious to see if anyone has creative ways for efficiently carrying cumbersome antlers. For the past 5 years I have carried a K&H pack rack so this has not been an issue for me (as they fit easily in a backpack). This year I am carrying a big set of antlers (probably around 130").

They are heavy and bulky, but they sound so darn good....

I stopped carrying antlers a long time ago. I just carry a rattle bag now. Much easier and lighter then those big cumbersome antlers.

The best way I found is to drill and install a couple of eye bolts into the base of the antlers and then thread a bungie cord thru the eye bolt. The bungie can be stretched around your waist or pack for transport and then hung from your stand .

I use Niteize gear ties to keep them tight and then strap to pack.

In reality tho, my brother got them for me last year for Christmas.

I dont and never will I think i tried this once and made so much noise walking and then climbing the tree i took them home and gave them to my nephew to drive my sister nuts with she cursed me for weeks
