How have you modified the predator?

Seems like most guys are just painting their platform and not stealth stripping them. Anyone who has done both prefer one over the other?

I am considering painting the bottom and stealth stripping the sides and contact points...
I didn't stealth strip mine, but I did wrap paracord around the edge and at the contact point between the platform and the stand. I also took some felt (like you'd put on furniture for hardwood floors) on the level adjustment bolt (you can kinda see it in this picture). Pretty quiet so far, but we'll see how it does this season.

Combination of bad weather and the whole family being sick at once kept me inside for a few days, did let me update my predator though. Aluminum primer, spray on bedliner, sponge camo and flat clear coat. Tried to replicate Sitka's elevated II and burnt orange logo. View attachment 9614View attachment 9615
can you send me some details on the paint you used....this is sick id like to try it!

Since my seasons basically over, I painted and wrapped up my xl this weekend.

Some stealth strips, paint, and paracord. Nothing too fancy, but enough to quiet it down and get rid of the reflective nature of the factory finish. I also put the new standoff from doublesteps on it as well.

Vet wrapped the outer edes. Replaced the stock gray cast standoff with one from EWO. Have a beast-stand stand-off that I am considering mounting to the predator platform, just didn't get the beast bracket until the end of last season, so that project has been on hold until I find some free time.

I painted mine and wove paracord around the edges, which helps to silence metal On metal and gives a little extra grip under the boots. I’d like to make another bracket for the top - something that give me a mini platform as I like to sometimes rest my Feet up there. I also need to figure out a much longer strap, the woods I hunt have a lot of massive trees and often can’t get in the tree I want cause my strap won’t allow for it.

any suggestions for longer and lighter hanging straps?
