I know a few members have bought (and immediately sold) this platform, sorry if I missed it and I didn't want to clutter the classifieds so... @enkriss and @Buckhorn70 what did you think/why did you decide not to use this platform?

The SH Membership has gone live. Only SH Members have access to post in the classifieds. All members can view the classifieds. Starting in 2020 only SH Members will be admitted to the annual hunting contest. Current members will need to follow these steps to upgrade: 1. Click on your username 2. Click on Account upgrades 3. Choose SH Member and purchase.

As far as a Saddle Platform the Tethrd Predator is hard to beat for a balance of weight and size (even though the Predator does not measure up to the advertised inches on their website).
The wings on the Xwing need to be angled as they will be used while leaning. If they were angled to accommodate the bottom of your boot, I probably would’ve kept the Xwing for some hunts this year.

I have been back and forth on whether or not I want to keep it or not.
I think it makes a mediocre platform standalone but combine it with a ROS I find it superior to any other option.

I like it better than my predator. It has the same width, better angles and packs better. With the platform and my stick I can shoot around most trees that I hunt from, add to that an easy attachment point for an ROS. For me it will be the platform I carry this season.
Might want to file that ros slot. I sliced an EWO OCB strap.
I really like my x-wing. I am still undecided wether I am going to pick up a couple steps to go with it. Don't need them with the crossbow. But it might be nice to have when using the compound.
I did that first thing, I always look for those kind of issues. Thanks for the heads up.
