How many Crawford screw ins to make it 25-30ft

I like the original ez climb folding step and they are quiet enough.I am careful getting them out.I prefer them to the T Screw.Easier to get leverage on hard trees.
That’s what swva just said about the T’s are they a folding type step or a locked position?? I feel like it may be hard to beat the original ez step that comes Coated already

I have the deluxe, T steps and rope steps. I like them all. But for me personally, the t steps are easier to get started and turn in than the deluxe steps. The screw on the deluxe, original and magnum all pivot from the top of the step. The T step screw pivots from near the middle. When I use the standard L style steps, I have the screw sticking out long ways and push it into the tree from the bottom of the step. It feels like it wants to break over one way or another as I’m getting it started. No big deal, because all of the cranfords start and go in wayyyyyyyyy easier than the cheaper rod style steps from ameristep or Hawk. But with the T steps, i can push with a lot more force squarely into the screw. Then I can start it and get the first few turns in with my thumb, index finger and ring finger and a simple wrist turn. There’s also absolutely no perceived flex in the step because your weight is pushing the bottom corner of the step into the tree, so it has no where to go and can’t really flex. You won’t feel the regular L style cranfords flex either. I mention the flex feeling mainly because if you use a rod style Hawk, gorilla or ameristep screw in, your gonna have some.

Looks like I may be buying 12 of each hahaha

Not a bad idea! Hahaha can’t hurt anything! I ordered a half dozen of the deluxe ones from Lancaster archery a few weeks ago. I found the T steps in a store after I order the deluxes and decided to try them. I bought four on Saturday and then went back and bought the last nine after I seen how well they work. I like my rope steps with a cam over buckle and strap instead of the rope for places where I can’t use a screw in step.

I have big hands I just hold the step with the point out and my thumb at the base.I slam it into the tree and turn it They pretty much start themselves if they are sharp when you do it that way.Cant tell you how many trees i have climbed that way

Well I got 2 set of cranfords and a tree hopper kit to eventually order some carbon fiber bolts etc!
