Has anyone come up with a good way to attach the perch to the mantis for climbing up the tree?

Mine hangs off a Petzl Caritool (size small). Best thing I’ve attached to my saddle.

So you slide that through the molle loops on the back?

Couldn't you just use any carabiner at that point. I just found putting carabiners even small ones through the tight loops creates pressure points when hangin in the saddle

No it’s different. It’s got a flat back so it sits tight in the molle loops. Hard to explain. My Doyle hoist hangs from it. Even with that weight you don’t even know it’s there

I picked up some plastic carabiners on Amazon and hooked 3 on my Mantis. I put a climbing stick on each side and the platform on the back. Works well enough for me...

I cover my method HERE

It's worked well so far. I added a webbing keeper with elastic band to retain the top.
