Huntarmor Saddle

The more I look at that saddle, it wouldn't surprise me if it was made in the same factory, by the same people and at the same time as Tethrd's Phantom. They look almost identical and are of similar build quality, at least judging from the pics. That's not saying I would buy one (of either).
That thought crossed my mind. That company probably white labels for Hawk too…. Maybe that’s why they used the pics they did. It’s like the safety company that makes Timber Ninja just released the exact same saddle with their own brand logo on it. You have to put non competes out when you outsource otherwise you lose your product especially overseas

Noncompetes don't mean much in china, especially if you reject a batch they find acceptable or slow down your orders, they will keep the factory busy and save their bottom line one way or another. if you look on ebay or aliexpress for name brand products that ship directly from china, half of them will be rejects and overruns that someone has acquired from the factory directly and is looking to make a buck on

I guess that makes sense… I wouldn’t know though, everything I offer is made in the USA

This is just speculation from what I've seen offered and what I've received and seen other people receive when they order cheap name brand and name brand look a likes from overseas, I'm not a businessman and have no experience dealing with foreign manufacturers directly. I would imagine it would be very difficult to get a foreign company in a U.S. court room and even harder to get a court date in a foreign country, that being said even a u.s.a. made product is subject to getting reproduced overseas if there is enough perceived profit margin available to them

I’ve got a quality, USA made saddle in the classifieds for sale for just a little more than that…

these went on sale on Amazon for black friday/cyber monday and i got one for $100 to check out.

stitching and build quality look decent:

as several amazon reviews stated, the g buckles are installed upside down and you would need to cut the stitching for the end of the leg loop straps to correct it:

it comes with an adjustable dyneema bridge that seems to be OK quality:

and there are some kind of balls or something sewn inside the bridge loops so you can adjust the pickup point for the bridge

definitely looks like a copy of the Tethrd saddle, as others have mentioned its probably coming from the same chinese factory and they slapped a different label on it.

but hey, its only $100....

You can use this platform in conjunctions. Best yikes for the yuans.

I like how they only spot welded instead of welding the whole joint to save weight. That’s peak engineering

I bought one 3 weeks ago for $120, having never owned a saddle I could only compare it to a covert lite that I had seen at a dealer weeks before.
I thought the build quality was good, ultimately I did return it but not because I was unhappy with it, but because I thought it was small for someone my size. Good luck with it, please continue to post about your experience with it.

They even claim a patented hammock design! I wonder whose patent they stole to make that claim?! I guess I'll just pass on this one and wait for the coveted Uncle Daddy dental floss saddle to release.

It actually doesn't look too bad.

You can pretty easily slice those leg loop stitches and flip the g-hooks and then fold the webbing back down and do a little hand stitching. Just saying I bet you can do it without cutting the webbing.

I'd probably ditch the chinese amsteel copy bridge and put one on with climbing rope or american amsteel.
