I love mine.....very comfortable.....wore it a lot, even when not hunting!
How would you compare and contrast the furnace quarter zip to your origin? Asking more to compare how a future furnace hoody would stack up
Different beasts....the furnace 1/4 zip is heavier and I use it as a layer on really cold days only. The origin is lighter and I use it a lot more, sometimes as an outer layer on days that aren't too cold. The origin is partially water resistant, has a face mask and has some odour absorbing properties, none of which the furnace hoody has. Furnace is a heavy-weight merino wool.....origin is FL 37.5 fabric which I believe is a synthetic.
I guess it comes down to comparing the features and deciding which are more important to your style of hunting.

No. But I don’t think I’ve worn an XL in any of my top garments in years. Mostly because I hate anything tight fitting except long underwear and I layer a lot.

I’m not sure but possibly because its made in the USA - which hopefully means US materials and labor all at fair living wages or better.
