The glare off the snow is horrible today. I wish I bought sunglasses. Anyone here do that?
I've done it early season when it's super bright and for turkeys. If there is snow on the ground, it's usually to cold to have an open face. The glare off the snow is horrible today. I wish I bought sunglasses. Anyone here do that?
I got busted by a hammer last year around this time glassing at him. THe sun was at his back and i put my binos up one more time to see his tines as he was coming down a hill towards me standing down in a swamp i got pinned in while crossing. 100% positive i shined him, wind was perfect and i tested it out after he bolted. Never saw that buck again...I was glassing a ridge with a friend a few years back for elk. He was across a ravine from me in full camo but I could still see him once and awhile from his glare off his sunglasses.
I've never seen binoculars have a glare but maybe they do too? Maybe coat your shades with whatever binos have on them? Maybe it doesn't matter to the critters?
I have been busted with shiny sunglasses shiny bows shiny binos.I have seen those shades before but never tried them. I ususally avoid anything the sun would reflect on. Thanks! I’ll check those out!
