Any one run into the hunting areas not syncing on HuntStand?

I have extensively ran the app for 4 or more years now and this is the first time my maps have not wanted to sync.

I tried deleting maps I don't use and have logged in/out multiple times!

Any help will be appreciated, thanks!

I generally have to wait a while for my iPhone data to sync over to the PC. But when I go from PC to iPhone it’s been syncing fine.

Alright guys, I've figured it out!

HuntStand is primarily designed to be mapped and updated by desktop or laptop. I don't understand why but it is. A desktop is the only place that holds true data and lets all features be applied. The only thing you can't do from desktop is GPS your current location and Sync. Syncing is for the on the go app via mobile device.

With that being said, the mobile device draws the data from desktop edits via Sync. No matter which desktop you've used to update, they will all be updated online. Once accessed from the mobile app, you draw that data from online.

I've seen multiple people saying that logging out of all platforms and devices sometimes fixes it, but most of the time this is not feasible. Some others have said clear your data and start fresh....ya no... don't do that. Think of the hours and time you've put boots on the ground to map and pin point all that info.

Do this one simple thing. Refresh the app by deleting it completely from your mobile devices and re-downloading it! Once you re-download it, it reads it as first time access and re-ups all of your data. From there you should be able to Sync without issues as I did just that! It kind of clears the app cache on your phone in a way.

I've had HuntStand for 5 years now looking back and this is the first time I have had an issue like this. Hope this helps everyone! Happy hunting!

I really like the price of the free version of hunt stand. Over time I have had so many way points, and property lines I had spent hours tracing out just disappear.

Apple device but the data was missing from the pc as well. On just about every property I hunt the property lines are off. They are the right size and shape but they just don’t line up. I have drawn corrected property lines and that’s what has been the biggest thing to disappear.
I also miss my free 10 property owner info per month. I guess if I’m going to keep using it I should upgrade.

Hmm that's strange... I have noticed sometimes if signal is weak or if you try to load maps too fast that the property lines will be off. I've found that even OnX does it at times. I haven't had any issues since I've been a paid member! Good to know though!

Onxhunt lost a waypoint I needed recently. I selected save not delete and there was no delete confirmation. It is just gone. I'll have to find it by looking. So 1970s. :)

Are they off compared to the county GIS info, or what you know to be the correct lines?

They match the county but off to what I know to be correct. Not hunt stands fault.
Yep, I have a property that’s the same. One boundary is about 10-15 acres off. It’s a good reminder that HuntStand & OnX as well,I believe, pulls its info from the GIS, so it may not be 100%.

Just wanted to revive this thread with the solution real quick guys. UNINSTALL AND REINSTALL THE APP! I don't know how or why, I am not techy, but it worked. No issues since early October now!
