If you could keep only one saddle to hunt with for the rest of your hunting career, which would you choose and why?

Recon. Modified, it checks all my boxes. Folds up to nothing, breaths great, very comfortable, zero hip pinch, cheap, very well built. The list goes on.
Completely agree. The modified recon is my choice as well. Thanks!
Modified Anderson I've had it since the early 80's. Just added the utlibridge instead of webbing bridge.
Different leg loops, fixed oplux bridge, removed rubber from plates, and most important is the bungee belt.
If I’ve said it once I’ve said it 100 times but the Kestrel is the gold standard by which all other saddles are measured.

I think it's too bad they don't make it any longer.
I'm always torn between using my Kestrel any my Recon. Having a hard time deciding which I would opt for if I could only use one forever as the original post indicates.

Like I have said many times I don't know how you can improve the Kestrel! I bought it because I think it is built like a tank! I have the Kestrel, Kite and Merlin. Presently I am using the Merlin but the Kestrel is my favorite.
I wish I would have gotten a kestrel while they were still being made. Keeping the XC in mind and I think I’ll try the Recon before long. It’s a good price point. So far my Latitude Classic has been awesome.

I chose an Aero Hunter Flex by New Tribe and it's very comfortable in my opinion. I liked the fact they list the material list and the strength.
X2. I have the older model flex and it is the most comfortable saddle I have used so far
I’ve had several saddles and have tried several. The Kestrel flex and the CRUZR XC were awesome but the CRUZR Archon is my favorite. I’m sure the other 2 panels similar in design would also be comfortable.
Tethrd menace because I’ve got to much junk in the trunk for most other saddles
I haven’t tried near enough to say. I won’t weigh in other than to say I’m happy as a clam with my drey and have no plans to try anything else.
You would really like the 2 panel or CRUZR XC or Kestrel Flex Then!!! Even more room, guaranteed!!!
