Is it just me?

Same here. I tried to stand there and shove it all back in my water bottle holder (and still do if it's midday and I'm just moving) otherwise I just shove the whole mess inside my pack, usually with the pull down cord and sometimes with my saddle or one stick too. I have a pop-up 38 so it all fits for now until I'm trying to get clothes back in there too.

Not ideal, but better than standing under the tree forever. I've been debating the DIY fleece drawstring pouch as well but hoping someone has a better idea, I am not a roll pouch fan at the moment but may be convinced.

It's not just you. Using rappel equipment for the first time is what allowed me to finally admit my signature to myself.

Your post is what finally made me put that fact in my signature!

Update…. I made a down and dirty fleece pouch with a zipper top and 4 quick clips to hold my rappelling rope. I have hunted it 5 times and I elbow roll 40’ of 8 mm teufelberger it stuffs in perfectly and fast too.2A9E68C0-8BD0-498F-A0A5-BE9796FB8388.jpeg2A9E68C0-8BD0-498F-A0A5-BE9796FB8388.jpeg8E0E15E6-2610-446E-9F03-10C8E0582A7B.jpeg
