Buck means in reference to. Or liking the jabber...
You will get lots of saddle related support, that’s for sure.

It's Huck......but yes , I'm only talking about the comaraderie and the joking. It is half of what makes coming here worth it. Yes you will learn plenty about saddle hunting. I'm very resistant to change and this forum is solely responsible for opening my eyes to better things. In no way was I trying to offend @tibolli .

Thanks @Tapeworm , I didn't think anyone was hard on me or rude with their responses. I truly find these jokes just as funny as the next guy. Thanks for all of your responses. I'll behave. :)
Okay now that we've got him truly converted who wants to talk about the different names that we call fish species? Anybody up for a discussion about Crocs? Just pulling your chain. I don't know if I could spend as much time here if it wasn't for all the joking and kidding around. Yes you're right sometimes it is frustrating and it makes the topics way longer than they need to be but I'll take the joking around over the name calling any day of the week. If you ever get the witness someone who comes into a thread with their matter of fact I know what's best and all y'all need to just listen to me attitude you'll really see what a Brotherhood this place really is. And you definitely should come to saddlepalooza. It's as good a time as you can have.

I understand fully how frustrating it is searching for info and you have to go through 100 post of off topic bs. With that said, I’m probably one of the worse at getting off topic. Once you are here for an amount of time, you will get to know everyone better and you just can’t help but share the love by busting your buddies in the balls. It’s just an indication of how close all of us here are. A sign of a healthy forum. Very rare today.

I enjoy the jokes and once you have been around long enough to understand some of the inside jokes you will enjoy it also. It is easy to get lost in some of these threads. I’ve even posted some well thought out post only to realize that I was in the wrong thread and it was totally off topic. Oops. Then someone will like it so all is well.
To catch you up a little not everyone here wears crocs. @g2outdoors May or may not take Taco Bell to the tree stand with him. @huck72412 really did give up being The Godfather of trophylines for a ratty Tethrd hat. @redsquirrel may wear a dress but that’s not his body in the picture you will see posted here. I guess it could be but it’s like a really old Facebook pic before he had kids. Me I’m just the oxymoron of ultralight saddle hunting since I weigh about 290 and am trying to get my pack under 15 lbs. While my post sometimes seem long and tend to ramble redsquirrel will testify that it’s still easier to understand than anything I say in person.
