Is the Quickie better than a delta link?

I personally don't trust the pin on a canopy anchor for rope climbing. For a tether or rappel, I think it's ok. I use oval links and don't have any complaints about them or reason to change.

If you don’t trust them you don’t trust them, nothing wrong with that, there’s lots of other good options. That said though, they’re widely used in Arboricuture so their durability has been well vetted

What is a 'quickie link'? Like a carabineer?

I would run one comfortably as a basal tie (or somewhere where I'm physically installing it in front of my face), but I personally prefer other options for canopy TIPs. Big fan of rappel rings on an Alpine Butterfly for that, just need to feed the rope fully through. In the hunting space, I usually use a Kong oval screw-link. But yes, I like quickies!

I just found out about the ISC Ultra link.

A quickie with a removable hitch "pulley."
