Jeff Barron took a fall. Fell about 20’. A couple fractured vertebrae in his neck & back. Also knocked him out. Sounds like the top strap of a tree stand snapped. There’s a video on Instagram for you guys that are good with social media.
 
Ironically the video just before the one with him in the hospital after the fall has him just returning from the store with two new safety harness for working on 16' ceilings inside the house they're building.

Tough son of gun to drag himself back to his truck for his phone in that condition. A lucky man. If not the fall, that move alone could have done him in. Why I always have my phone on my person in the tree.

It's always those old sets that have been out for some time producing these types of falls.
Even a lifeline that's been out can get chewed.

Been while since I've been on their channel. Hannah's grown up. Going to make some lucky dude a great hunting partner some day.
 
That’s so sad. Guess he won’t be out noodlin this season. I wish him all the speedy recovery. And for those who don’t know, his daughter there has a net worth of 5 million dollars from noodling catfish in her bikini. She’s a very pretty young lady and they are both extremely knowledgeable outdoorsman/woman…. To me it high lights the importance of being tied off at all times.
 
So basically flaunting her fun bags for cash. Well, I guess to each their own. Goes to show, Mr. Murphy DGAS.

I say this on AT every single year. At this point with all of the choices one has, if you choose not to wear a harness while climbing / in a stand and something happens, I have a hard time feeling bad.
 
Never heard of either. I literally did a YouTube search for her name and recognized her backside because they show up on my feed sometimes. Proud to say l have never click to watch, no offense. Just not my thing but l get it, she is living an amazing life doing what she love with hard work and what god blessed her. Honestly today was the first time l have seen her face. I dont fish so the one video of her that youtube is telling me to watch is her shooting a bow. And it always just a picture of her backside.

But either way, hope he has a speedy and full recovery.

She said in the harness video that she had just been to her 10yr high school reunion. Which would put her at ~28? Channel is only 6yrs old, and I think you'd probably find she set it up herself, not her Dad. Who started his channel after hers. Might want to get your facts straight before posting like that making you look like an

I don't know if her net worth is ~$5M as was posted elsewhere. Can't believe everything you find on the web and hard to believe a YT account with less than 1M subs would bring that kind of revenue. But what do I know. You do what you can in certain parts of the country to make a living and I say more power to them if they're making it.

Of what I've watched on either channel it's not about T&A. Jeff is quite the McGuyver with what he accomplishes and I'd be pretty proud to have a daughter like Hannah if she were mine.

Good to know some of you are that perfect or infallible that you've never once forgotten or been up a tree without a harness. I call BS to that.

Sad to hear so little compassion for your fellow man.

I didn’t know who they were and now that I do, I do. I’m glad you posted about this and I pray they are all ok. I’m not judging anybody and you’re 100% correct that probably most of us at one time or another for whatever reason have taken short cuts. This example is good for us to continue to remember to always be tethered in.

Good to know my info is incorrect and apologies for revving any engines. She/they came across my feed several years back and admittedly once I saw what was being shown I didn’t go digging into her age for fear of looking like some creep stalking what appeared to be a teenage girl in a bikini. My knowledge of them starts and stops there.

And I didn’t in my post nor do I now wish them any ill will and I hope he recovers fully.

I’ll leave you with this. What you hook ‘em with is what you have to keep them with.
 
Alright, this is heading in the wrong direction. The relevant point has been made that an internet personality took a fall. It appears he'll make a full recovery. Good for him. There's no need for digs at each other over it. I'm locking this thread in the interest of keeping the peace.
