I've got one of those, came with a full body muddy harness, I've used it as a gear hanger before, never thought to hook my bridge to it though
does not look potable to meCan you really drink it?

I know right? You can totes leave our straps in the woods unlike rope!! Yeah until a squirrel or raccoon finds it.The fact that they are trashing the "traditional tree strap" (rope style) cracks me up...
"Have to strap around tree to setup" - Don't you also have to do that with your product?
"Attaching the tree to install, not safe." - The rope style tether is way easier and quicker to setup.
"Heavy, hard to carry, noisy" - The rope is none of those things
"Have to set it up every time, can't just leave it in the woods like you can with our product" - Huh?
Oh It's funny, but got me wondering if I could make it comfortable to hook my bridge to, it would make sure there isn't any slippage or sagging in my tether. Might try it once it gets warmer out tbhThe fact that they are trashing the "traditional tree strap" (rope style) cracks me up...
I agree attaching a tree to a rope is quite unsafe....think of all the tree chopping/moving gear you'd have to bring along....or have you ever tried installing a tree inside your rope? It takes years man.......The fact that they are trashing the "traditional tree strap" (rope style) cracks me up...

You got me thinking here. If it’s not cinched real tight to the tree and the buckle is on the back side, it might make creeping 360 around the tree easier.I've got one of those, came with a full body muddy harness, I've used it as a gear hanger before, never thought to hook my bridge to it though
Surprised they did not point out there is no prussic loop to stop you from falling up the tree. The fact that they are trashing the "traditional tree strap" (rope style) cracks me up...

Available at any hardware store or hobby lobby get a small plastic or metal hook as long as it has rounded edges (Home Depot sells a cheap tie down called a pro grip) get some thin elastic cordage use about 2 foot tie in double fisherman’s knot to make a continuous loop with the hook attached to it, finished length will be about a 9” continuous loop, 4 wrap prusik around your tether then hook it to the eye. It won’t hurt it it’ll stretch if you need it to then return to tension. Your tether won’t fall and you won’t have some big weird buckle or clip on itOh It's funny, but got me wondering if I could make it comfortable to hook my bridge to, it would make sure there isn't any slippage or sagging in my tether.
