I never understood the whole thing about lying to the wife about how much something costs. I make all the money, who is she to tell me I can’t spend it, granted as long as her and the kids are taken care of it’s fine. Now if you were hurting in other areas I can see how that would be a problem.

It's just a joke. My wife doesn't care what I spend money on as long as the bills are paid. Just the same as I don't ask how much it costs to cut her hair
 
I met a guy the other day and he said his name was Jathan.

Not Nathan or Jason, but Jathan. I thought that was different and said his name back to him a couple of times, so I would remember it.
I said, "It's nice to meet you Jathan, that's an interesting name, Jathan. I'll try to remember your name Jathan.
