Not sure what to even say. Went to Kansas hoping for a nice buck and got more than I could ever ask for. The first afternoon, I had a nice 125 -130 inch buck chasing a doe all around me. The next day, yesterday, started with a frosty morning in the low 30’s. I bumped a small buck walking in and then saw 7 does. At about noon I was sweating in the tree and decided to head back to camp to shed some layers and hop in a different stand. This buck stepped out and gave me a 20 yd shot. He ducked my arrow somehow and ended up spining him. Put another one in immediately and the rest is history. Very rough score at 237.

That brother, is why Kansas is my dream hunt! Congrats and thanks for killing my dream buck too. Lol.

Also I would reach out to some of companies of the gear you used…camo, bow, stand, saddle or whatever, they may send you some free gear for next season just to have your pic for advertising.
This was with an outfitter. He had a few big ones but did not recognize this nor did he think it was a carry over from last years big ones. Possibly one from two years ago but really who knows.

I still am in shock. I thought it was a big 10 until he was 20 yds and still, didn’t know what he had until I was down and with him. Truly unbelievable. I did dm a pic to Mathew’s and Sitka and they basically just said congrats, which is fine.
Thanks for the kind words and good luck this season!
