My buddy is a newbie to saddles and just received his Mantis. He is having problems keeping the leg straps hooked onto the hook-up loop when he walks while wearing it.
Is this a common issue? If so, how are you guys dealing with it?

I have the opposite problem. I can’t get them off when the webbing rolls over. Not really a big deal though.

I would suggest he always aim the G hook so that it can’t pull off.

While the straps can go to either side, there is a way to do it so the open part of the hooks face down. That should help.

One of mine pulled out half way and hooked back into middle of strap at some point during hunting today. Keep an eye out for that

Like said above, I have had no trouble with them coming off but I have made sure they face down.

Mine have gone face down every time. The other side came loose and grabbed the loop in middle causing a hole/ separation of material to while hunting. Both sides are now slightly “torn”. It happens without even noticing.
