Have mantis looking to move to Flex could never stay comfortable for any length of time in the mantis. Think I would have same issue with phantom. What bridge option r u using with Flex and why? Thanks

I run an openable webbing. Pros, no stepping over/through your bridge. Cons, extra weight and noise. I would strongly consider a closed webbing bridge, however, i pack my saddle in and it is nice to nit have to step through a bunch of webbing when trying to be quiet at my tree.

The adjustable rope bridge
It’s perfect depending on what kind of lean the tree has or your individual position
You will love the Flex
Congrats!
Don’t let a bad experience ruin it for you, we all have different shapes. The flex will form to you.
And the adjustable rope bridge will allow you to fine tune exactly to your comfort.

I like a long bridge. I initially had fixed webbing, but swapped it for adjustable rope. It's fixed on one side and can be used like a lineman's belt to get around limbs when climbing. Easy adjust the length out for comfort, if necessary and can make it pretty shirt for rappelling.
Walking in I often loop it over my head and it helps keep it up.

I have a rope bridge on my flex which worked very well last year. This is my first saddle and it was a toss up rope or webbing bridge. As @Squatch said they been making saddles with rope bridges for arborists for many years and they work. My climbing belt I had at work also used a rope strap. If I want to go lighter weight I would go with a webbing bridge but one that opens. You can do more with a bridge that opens.

Flex on order. Should have next month assuming the world does not come to an end first!

My Kestrel and Flex saddles have a predator rope bridge that open. I wouldn't have it any other way.
