Knaider/swaider for single sticking?

@Aaronpaul14 i finally got the scout in. Just waiting on the mini shikar. So you put your step on the bottom of your setup when you tried this, right? Just trying to pregame it to minimize trial and error.

I tried the scout on the top and the bottom of the mini. On top seemed to have better side pressure support at height. But when I added the ocb and moved the double step to the top. Made it more versatile for me. You will need a longer bolt if you utilize the the double step since the top stock bolt is a little short.

When I started playing around with one sticking after last season I had seen a few videos of guys using a continuous loop to hook the knaider into. I decided to give it a try to get the most movement out of one stick per move. I didn't care for the loop as it added fiddle factor for me and I found that the hook fits nicely over the step itself and is more of a positive lock and easier to hook onto without thinking about it. On my 2 step setup I hook my swaider on the bottom left step then as I stand up hook the knaider onto the bottom right then step up to the stick. I hook the top steps behind my calves and move my tether rope up as high as I can reach, sit back into the saddle and move my stick up so that the top step is just under my tether girth hitch. Wash, rinse, repeat until I'm at height. I still need to work on smoothing out my process as far as swinging away from the stick to move it, reset it and repeat but I like the option and I'll be using it a bit this season, though my primary is still my WE steps as thats what I'm most efficient with currently.
