I have the same ones Boswell. I've always used the rubber caps, maybe I'll try the hard ones. The padding in them seems like it has worn down and isn't as effective as when I first got them.

Trophyline is what I use, they work well for me.

Thanks,
Boswell
Are the Trophyline knee Savers all that great? Or could I get some better ones for about $30-$40?

They are not great, just what I have always used. If I hunt every am and pm for about 3 days. My knees start to get sore. I had a pair of these for years. Dunno where they went, I think i liked them when I used them....

I'm just using some cheapo AWP hardshell kneepads I bought when I put down hardwood flooring at my house a couple of years ago. The shells are all white. They certainly save your knees. Not sure if it's important that they're camo, just that they didn't stink like funky sweaty knees.

I use a pair of Kuny's gel construction knee pads. I always wear them over my base layers but under my bibs. They don't rub this way , nor do they move around.

Yeah that stench is what I don't want.
I guess what I'm looking for is a knee pad that will cushion my knee and protect my outwear from wear(pun not intended), and can be easily removed and put on quietly. In addition, one that won't hold much scent and is somewhat lightweight.

No worries they are machine washable. I laundered with scent free detergent then air dried.
