Those came out stellar. When we talked today, I figured some red green update to the pad to accommodate 1 inch straps. Once again, pissing excellence. You make simple ideas beautiful. Well done!

These are auto lock buckles I had lying around with all of my spare Kifaru gear. I can't even remember how I ended up with so many. I'm not sure where to buy them direct. I haven't tried to source them yet. Here's an example of what Kifaru uses them for. https://store.kifaru.net/guide-lid-and-compression-kits-p32.aspx

I’ve looked around a good bit and buying them direct from Kifaru is about the best option.

man you are making us look bad - I have no DIY imagination at all - never-mind the skills, equipment or time. Hell I've been trying to customize a new sitdrag for a month and basically am right where I started. Your damn sewing threads are a real pain in my ass - the fact that I checked craigslist for one to do the sitdrag makes me laugh just thinking about it. It's impressive to see the vision and persistence you have - and the quality is ridiculous. Now if you go slay a monster this fall with all this DIY crap, you'll be an instant SH legend :cool:

I do actually LOL! I built houses for several years professionally before getting into cop work. I've built one for myself since becoming a cop and I just finished digging the foundation on what I'm calling my "forever house". I start doing concrete work next week (in my spare time LOL). I'll be lucky to survive this year!
