Kydex molle J hook

Thank you to everyone that has ordered my hooks! I had no idea I would have this kind of demand for them. I have gone through my kydex supply in a hurry, but I have a big order coming in this week. I’ve tested the hooks on some other molle webbing I have access to on some of my packs, and can say not all molle webbing is created equal. The hook fit most of the loops I tried, but some were just to narrow. I’m going to shave about 1/8” on the width of the hooks, this should allow them to fit most standard 1”molle loop. But sometimes the loops are not stictched to spec, so some slight modifications may need to be made to fit in certain circumstances. Thank you again to all that have ordered and planning to order!

@Dkiss103
Will a rubber gear tie slide into the slot ?
Like the nite-ize gear ties? I haven’t tried one, but was actually going to buy one this week. It probably won’t slide all the way down, but the opening is wide enough that it would probably slide at least half way down. I will try it and let you know.

Just dropped several more orders off at the post office! Thanks again to everyone that has ordered.

Well I just received a call from the post office. The packages I dropped off didn’t have the correct postage. Saturday when I stopped by to talk to them I was told a postage stamp would be sufficient. Well now they are saying that the envelope are to thick with the hooks in them so now they are considered parcel mail. The parcel rate is $3.50 up to 4oz. I’m very sorry for this inconvenience. I will contact everyone that has already ordered.

And the USPS wonders why they are going broke...their solution to everything is charge more rather than STOP being a bunch of morons. I'll be glad when private industry chokes them out. I'd be good if I only got my letter mail 2 scheduled days a week or on a day when I was recieving a package, which is usually 4 days a week, lol.

I’ve had problems with the local usps before, but I think this was an honest mistake. I had taken the padded envelope I was going to use to them and asked about postage on it. They said stamp would be fine and gave me a breakdown of extra charges per ounce. When I went back to post office after they called me they showed me a slot cutout they had on the desk. The filled envelopes would not slide through, therefor they were classified as parcel mail. Had the hooks been completely flat the envelope would have fit and the stamps would have been fine. So when I was told the $1.50 they didn’t take into account that the filled envelope would be thicker.

Received my kydex order a day early! I should be caught up with all current orders by this weekend, and start building up inventory for future orders!

I was shipping neoprene buckle covers a while back, and ran I to the same thing. Weight was fine, but the bulk kicked them up into the more expensive parcel rate. It's a bummer, but what are ya gonna do?

My hooks arrived. Thank you. I like them slot. Minimal solution to a problem I've always had. Well worth the money!!
