The SH Membership has gone live. Only SH Members have access to post in the classifieds. All members can view the classifieds. Starting in 2020 only SH Members will be admitted to the annual hunting contest. Current members will need to follow these steps to upgrade: 1. Click on your username 2. Click on Account upgrades 3. Latitude Carbon Sticks - Saddle Attachment Method?

I have no idea. I didn’t have or use that speed pass offer they had last year. I’m not an influencer (except in the saddle hunter support thread and in my own mind), so I’m not sure. Maybe because I ordered eight total sticks and the system messed up somehow? I wish I knew.
I’ll think of you as I’m climbing on them killing bucks left and right while you’re stuck on the ground. (Sarcasm).

It's OK man, I don't really need them, my setup for the last 2 years has enabled me to kill double digit whitetails. I was replacing some POS LWCG doublesteps tuning forks that I wasn't using for backups.
Like I said previously, they have until end of month, then I'm out.
So I grilled them pretty good at the booth yesterday. They basically admitted they pooped the bed with production issues and with communication on said issues.
That being said it sounds like now everything is back on track, issues sorted out with manufacturer, and they are getting them made around the clock to get rid of the backlog.
I ordered a set yesterday and they stated I’d have them well before October 1st. If I had a September opener it potentially could be pushing it. I’m ok with this as I had zero other issues and previous interactions, but I know what others who were/are still expecting based on previous communication still may not love that answer.

I’m beginning to think you are like 4’6” and wear size 6.5 shoes …you always talke about your size 14W shoes, but obviously the fact you bought EIGHT yes 8 Latitude carbon sticks is a CLEAR indication you are a little dude or woman trying to get 20’ in a tree

Reagan, I know one of the T boys in Virginia and he’s into some weird stuff. Probably from all that YouTube fame and his cute chubby cheeks.
How are ya'll big shoed folks 12" or greater (I'm size 12) climbing comfortably on 3.5 inches of step? Especially in rubber boots.
My question is… how do you know that?
I toe it as I’m climbing then as I rest on the stick I’ll turn my feet outwards a little as I’m placing my next stick. Never had an issue with it. But I also don’t have any other options. I mean what would I do, use one of the climbers?!?!? That’s so 2018.

I’m impressed with my first look at these sticks! They definitely seem well thought out. I’ll get them on a tree tonight. My son loves them.
I just put a set in the classifieds.
Out of curiosity, what did you not like?
No strong opinion on any part of them.
Just have a very small budget of space for hunting stuff right now. Purchased when that was different.
Best way to put it - the amount I use climbing sticks doesn’t justify me keeping more than one set, and spending 300.00 on a set.
I completely understand that life cycle. Very smart man! Sell everything. You need a bucket and some arrows.
They sold in 18 minutes.
Someone definitely will get a better use out of them than I will!

Got mine yesterday….. Nice sticks. Measurements are almost identical to the Tether One sticks in almost every way.
Latitude sticks weigh 20.5 oz each on my scale with Amsteel rope and Amsteel aider. Tethrd Sticks weigh 18.7 oz each with Amsteel rope and Amsteel aider. One sticks would be almost 1/2 pound or 8 oz lighter over a set of 4 sticks For you oz counters.
I thought the Latitude sticks would be quieter when banged together since they are composite but they are not……it’s more of a clud(like synthetic rattling antlers) sound whereas the Tethrd One‘s are more tingy metallic sound when banged together. I realize no one is going to bang the sticks together on purpose but just testing worse case scenarios. Both are relatively quiet when nested together with care. After market measures like Stealth strips could clean up some of this sound on both sticks.
Both are the same on the tree In regards to bite and foot-room.
Both nest together great with the same dimensions. The Tethrd One‘s seem a bit better only because of the little rubber tabs/buttons that insert in the holes and eliminate a need for a strap. Latitude would need a strap and a rubber one is shipped with the sticks.
Both are great lightweight stick options. I am only going to keep one set and not sure which set it will be yet.

Good to get some confirmation on the sound, the sound of the sticks (or rather lack of metal sound) is the main reason I ordered a set. Hoping that the occasional accidental carabiner tap during an ascent etc. will be less "omfg human here" to the deer. Time will tell.
