Leg Loops?

I have mine tight for the walk in and climb up. When settled in I loosen them all the out and I also loosen up my waist belt. Which I am not suggesting just what I do...

I took the leg straps off of my Kestrel. I can turn completely around in it but my belt keeps it on me. No way I can fall out of it.

I fell out of a SitDrag. It wouldn't have happened with leg loops. All the YouTube folks said it wouldn't happen but it did. From my experience, I would strongly recommend that you keep them in place otherwise you might find your expensive saddle was also a ticket to the hospital.
But hey, you might make new friends out of the guys who actually heard you calling for help, and carried you out of the woods. ;-)
Thanks for sharing that!
I have a custom sitdrag I use it 25% I have a Kestrel and a Flex. Had a Kite and Mantis last year for not very long.
I use a LW climber top most of the time and hang on the side of the tree alot to adjust it at least 2 to 6 times a climb.
You could slip out of the sitdrag. I haven't yet but it's possible.
I haven't used the Flex yet but like the Kestrel because of the leg straps. I wear it to the stand with straps buckled behind my legs then connect them when I start to climb. I loosen them while on stand and tighten them back up when I climb down. I won't be cutting mine off anytime soon.
