Used nockturnal before, always worked well but hated how you had to maneuver them to shut them off.

Been looking at halo nocks, they seem lighter too. Anyone use them?

What’s your favorite?

They are all about 22-25 grains. I have had good luck with deep power and keayup. Nit sure I spelled that right. Firenock has been the most reliable but kind of heavy and a PITA to install.

I tried switching to halo from nockturnals before this season. Had one halo nock break with some regular target shooting frequency, then had the first one I shot into a deer this year break as well. Immediately switched back to nockturnals with no problems since

I used lumenocks for a few seasons. I like that the battery is replaceable. However the batteries seem to not last long - possibly from being stored in a cool garage. And all three times that I deployed them in the field the nocks didn’t survive impact for various reasons. They also seem to be a challenge to a perfect fit during installation and thus are often either too quick to turn on or fail to properly turn on. So while I don’t have specifically negative things to say about the Lumenocks, I’m trying some cheapos from eBay this season. And so far without actually using them in the field I’m feeling quite optimistic.

I practiced with these all summer and they were great. I was shooting them every day and it would be 10-15 days before They would not go off on every shot and then it would just be one shot. Eventually the switch would fall off on a couple but that was after months. They stay lit over 24 hrs. I believe the 204's were 16 gn. My only shot on game with them so far has been a doe that I shot through the leg and only the leg and it worked fine and was very bright. After shooting them all summer I have 100% confidence in them. The best part is they're $17 for 6.

@Black Titan turned me onto the Amazon lighted nocks (Deepower) and for $15/half-dozen they’re unbeatable. Bright and functional like my nockturnals, way easier to turn off, and more color choices (I prefer strobe these days). That’s less than half the price of Nockturnal and about 1/3 the cost of Halo.
They are also maybe 5gr lighter than a nockturnal so they shouldn’t change the impact point too drastically but will help gain a minuscule percentage of FOC.
