@flinginairos I think I'd have a new pal if I were down there... let him know that I'll bring the snacks next year!

Got home late last night. I have to say this event gets better every year. I can’t say the same for the hog hunting or maybe it’s the hunters:wink:. Either way @g2outdoors did an excellent job of planning the event as usual. @denots and crew did an excellent job with lunch on Saturday. I guess the only downside to the whole event was I was unable to improve my record against @huck72412 on the cornhole board. Even when he was sleep deprived from being up all night calling dinosaurs the night before. It was a great group of saddle hunters and prospective saddle hunters that were a joy to be around.

Slept late today after 10+ hours driving round trip yesterday to go just for the day, but so glad we went! Can't thank @g2outdoors enough for the work of hosting and @denots and crew for the great food. There are so many others to thank and I will not not get them all here, but special thanks to @huck72412, @swapfox1862, @GBlevins92, @EricS, and @Nutterbuster for all your knowledge and camaraderie! Anyone on the fence about going should make the effort next year, we will be there for the whole weekend. Think of the demos as more of a personal show and tell popping up all around you with so much going on you will miss things and still have information overload. Good times!

On my way back home to the mountains of North GA but wanted to say thanks to Greg and all involved in putting the event together. The food alone is worth the price of admission, but the company and conversation was even better. I’ve got my ziplock of Jambalaya stashed in my cooler (Thanks Kyle and Tim), it was outstanding! For all those who spent time answering my many questions...Gene, Don, Bob, Chris, Justin, Shawn, Will, Jeff and many more I appreciate you. Safe travels home everyone, and hope to be back next year.

John
