Moon is getting rightThe deer are moving in daylight, both bucks and does. They don't seem to care about how warm today was.

Are they not moving or are they not moving where you are watching? Public or private doesnt seem to matter to an extent in my experience. Where they will move in daylight on pressured public is different than unpressured private, but they will still move. We just arent always in the right spot to see it. That is in person or with cams. In both cases we are looking through a straw relative to their range.public or private?
public during summer, i see the affect. now that the season has been open for 3 weeks here on public, i dont see the affect. is it just me?
seems like the full moon just allows them to become even more nocturnal than normal. almost no mid-day activity that we would have during off-season
Agree. This fits with what I see also. As the human pressure increases, I have to go farther out or go to spots others won't or can't go to, but once there I tend to see the same thing. That said, I can only be in one spot to the exclusion of all others so they may not be moving where I am.Are they not moving or are they not moving where you are watching? I don't think our deer ever calm down around here. They do in town but on the public I hunt they will tear the woods down to get away if they even suspect humans are around, be it October or July. I scouted over 100 miles from February to March 15th this year and I saw maybe 1 or 2 deer on their feet in daylight.
We don't have any field edges, no fields or agriculture within about 40 miles. Low deer density is king here.hot dam, that sucks. next august under a full moon, walk the field edges between 12-2pm. if there aren't deer on their feet, move here.
Honestly sounds like a tag puncher of a day. GL!First time out in 2 horrible weeks. A saddle between 2 bedding areas. Rubs and a fresh scrape on my left. I’m in the biggest tree in the area and it’s only a 12 white oak. Hope this wind doesn’t gust
