Lone wolf custom aider on beast stick “video attached”

I'm impressed. I only use aiders on my first step as I hate descending in the dark with my nylon strap aiders. These LWC cables look so much much easier to use.

Here is another option for mounting them. Keeps cables out of the way for stacking. 1/4 inch bolt, flat washer on each side of slot, nylon washer on both sides of eye and a lock nut. Works on dano steps also.Screenshot_20200427-194401.pngScreenshot_20200427-194350.pngScreenshot_20200427-194327.pngScreenshot_20200427-194314.pngScreenshot_20200427-195702.png

This is a fantastic idea. I hope you’re seeing this @DanO

Yep, gonna have to do some testing but my initial thought is it should work fine. I'm getting some longer bolts done up with black zinc soon for including with the wire rope aiders I'm selling, now wondering if I should get some smaller bolts done too.

What about one single bolt under the steps but mounting the cable on both sides of the post?

Good idea, but you might not be able to rotate it up for transport. You might be able to rotate it towards the back of the stick, but don't think you'd be able to clear the standoffs.
