Has anyone else received the replacement button?
Yep. It's an XOP button. Have to run it vertically because my button hole is off center.

Is the Podium really smaller than the RR? I thought it was the other way around, but mostly similar in size.

I owned a Podium all too briefly and it was plenty big enough and beautiful at 3 lbs, and similarly "bulletproof", and more reasonably priced than competitors. I'll probably end up with another one in my future.

I am not sure, I think the RR may be wider. I’ll have to google YouTube on it. I am happy with the RR.

Still waiting here. How do you like it?
I love it. My post is square and the level bolt is drilled almost center. You have to find the sweet spot when camming it over. It doesn't pop and takes side pressure fine. The XOP button did not bend. The only issue with mine is the button bolt is off center.

So Andrae called me twice. I picked up this afternoon. Super impressed.

He called to let me know the replacement bolt situation. He said that it didn't pose a safety issue, but that it was bending under load for some people if the strap wasn't close to the post. He said the new bolt had a thick shoulder and would fix that. I told him that mine appeared to be drilled crooked. He immediately said (paraphrasing pretty closely),

"Well that's no good. Try this for me. If you get a chance reinstall it. We've had some sticks where they weren't threaded correctly, and if we unscrewed and retightened them they went in straight. If that and the new bolt doesn't work, let me know and I'll just send you a new post. It's safe to hunt with in the meantime."

He was adamant that he wanted it to be right for me, and that they were not happy with the manufacturer and would be working with a different one going forward.

I can't be too mad with them honestly.

Can you PM me his contact? I think I got one of the worse off ambushes.

I received my button yesterday. I opted for the dano button. It looks better. Will be replace my sticks with the button later on as well. Also wrapped the edge where the post hits with paracord.
