I'm new to group and will be purchasing a Kestrel to hunt with next year using my 58" recurve
That’s why I’m interested in the saddle due to its light weight and versatility to adapt to any treeHowdy! Once our deer season is over in Alabama, I might be taking my Grizzly out for a ride in the saddle. Would make for some lightweight hunting.
I’ve watched all the videos and can’t wait to start practicing this springWelcome to the site, you’re gonna enjoy the kestrel!
Thanks for the tips. I can fully understand the full draw issue by the position your in with the saddle. That’s why I’m waiting til season is over before I start a new method and spend the the whole off season practicing. I can’t quite picture the bow hanging tip on the figure 8 knot though. You have a picture of yours hanging?Tie a figure 8 with the tag end of your girth hitched tether as a bow hanger. For me, It works better than anything else.
Another tip is to practice a lot and make sure you hit full draw. I and several others have a problem reaching full draw. I blame it on lack of practice though.
