Looking for tips and tactics using a traitional bow w/ saddle

Tie a figure 8 with the tag end of your girth hitched tether as a bow hanger. For me, It works better than anything else.

Another tip is to practice a lot and make sure you hit full draw. I and several others have a problem reaching full draw. I blame it on lack of practice though.

Thanks for the tips. I can fully understand the full draw issue by the position your in with the saddle. That’s why I’m waiting til season is over before I start a new method and spend the the whole off season practicing. I can’t quite picture the bow hanging tip on the figure 8 knot though. You have a picture of yours hanging?

I couldn’t find one but basically just have a stopper knot on the tag end of your tether knot that is up on the tree. So you hang the bow on that knot at the end of the rope. Somebody has to have a pic of it. If not I will get one when I have time.
