What he said...(yes .....I just assumed your gender)The best way to loosen a prussik when it's not under load is to just pull up on the loop part of the knot that goes across all of the coils.

Same with mine. I literally had to pull each coil loose to get it to move. I'm not happy with it.On my H2 the Triad bridge is pretty much impossible to move without having a wrestling match up in the tree. I've got to figure this out as well.

I agree. Its solid but a little too solid. Seems like I read somewhere that the Prussic needs to be a smaller diameter cordage than the rope it is tied on, or either the opposite way, for it to work properly.I really think it is the amsteel on amsteel that makes it difficult for some reason.
