I’ve been hearing a lot about this LUME deodorant system on the radio and so I researched it a bit to see if they offer an unscented system and they do. Does anybody use it? Recommend it? Any issues you’ve heard about it? They have some deals going on right now too I was thinking about trying it out but apparently it’s very well regarded.

I was gifted some a couple years ago and I’ve used it just during deer season. I’ve actually been able to tell a difference than the typical unscented deodorant I normally use from arm and hammer.

Typically I wear synthetic base layers and can tell I have some under arm funk after a full day of hunting when using the arm and hammer, usually I could only get one day of hunting out of those layers. When I switched to the Lume it seemed that my pit areas weren’t as wet from sweat and didn’t have the funk at the end of the day, I noticed I could get two days of hunting out of those base layers before it got any kind of funk.

When you first put it on it does seem to have some kind of chemical smell to it, but it quickly goes away after applying. Just for reference I’m no kind of scent nut and typically sweat a lot while hunting in Mississippi.

I used Lume this season and was very pleased. I used the unscented stick for pits and the unscented cream for feet and butt crack, you know, the other parts. I can’t see myself using anything else during hunting season from here on out. I will say there’s a brother company called Mando that is the exact same formula but offers manly scents too if you’d want to use non hunting days. Again, I think it worked great and have recommended to several hunting buddies already

I have been interested as well. Thought the price was a bit steep but it it’s working this well, maybe it’s worth it.

silver treated synthetics really do work....i wear nothing but redhead synthetic base layers with 4Most inhibit and liners socks with silver from Fox River

i can wear the same layer for several days with close to zero odor

just an FYI....they are cheap also and go on sale

I ordered some lume unscented pit and creme. I’ll let you know if it works or not. I typically don’t have an issue with getting busted but I just can’t even find scent free deodorant without having to drive 30 minutes one way. And it never seems to last very long. I really like the Mitchum unscented gel 48 hour stuff as it does work but it does have a slight odor of some kind.

I use the Native brand unscented but I’m curious about the Lume.

Started using the scented Native antiperspirant and body wash this year, not for hunting. Will have to pick up an unscented stick.

Almay unscented gel on Amazon.
Zero odor, works very well, and seems to have better coverage than others that I've tried. A little goes a long way, which needs factored in when considering the cost per ounce.

A very good unscented deodorant (not an antiperspirant) is the deodorant stones/crystal. Not a gimmick, the stuff works.
I work it into my damp hair after my pre hunt shower. Also spread it on a lot of my hide while I'm still wet, and stand in front of a fan for a minute before I put on my base layer.

Cover Up used to sell these I had a crystal for years before I lost it and I agree it worked well.
