LW top vs. LW bottom?

I recently bought a LW sit and climb.
I intend to use either the top or the bottom in a hybrid climbing platform. Obviously both need to be modded to compliment a saddle situation.
Which one do you prefer?
 
Sit and climb? Usually people use the hand climber top
 
I used a LW assault platform with my saddle quite a bit this past year.It was an awesome combination.
 
I see what you did there.I have two and thought about cutting one of them like that.
