How many of you guys are using them as a saddle platform? I have one and been messing with it, but I feel like the ambush is honestly a better option. What's everyone's thoughts.
Exactly… I know where this is heading, thats the biggest reason I keep my .5 for when I use sticks, they just ride so nice on that stand. If I could only pick one it would be the .5, but I definitely use my Ambush more, because of bolts.Using LWCG sticks?
Those mini beast sticks on sale sure is tempting me.. are you strapping them on the .5 with a bungee or come up with some other creative solution, I have never tried beast sticks yet.I used the .5 with a saddle all last season. Best combo I've found yet. Used LWCG mini's the first half the season and beast mini's the 2nd half. Selling the LWCG mini's. I think they're great, I just like the beast sticks better.
You won’t regret the mini Beast sticks. IMO anyway. Those mini beast sticks on sale sure is tempting me.. are you strapping them on the .5 with a bungee or come up with some other creative solution, I have never tried beast sticks yet.

I use the stand strap and flip the sticks upside down to attach. I also added some camoform tape where the antler bracket contacts the seat post down by the seat for silencing and also to take up the extra space so the sticks don't tend to flop over to the side when strapped to the stand. I also added a little tape to a couple teeth of the stand where the antler bracket makes contact. I have yet to see how well that holds up. That was a post season addition. I also use a moveable aider with this setup, when needed.View attachment 66687
Similar to how I've seen the One sticks packed vertically on a .5. You kind of lose that load shelf for pack support, but it is doing great as a stick support and shock suppressor.
Do you not run a pack?
Looks slick! I run the thick cushion on the bottom and thin one on top just like you, I run the same setup as Plebe for sticks, I do miss my versa aider though going to a single step stick, I liked that thing it was simple and light.I use the stand strap and flip the sticks upside down to attach.
