LWCG Ambush Platform

So is there any thought they will send out a new post? Mine is destroyed from the platform rubbing it down.

Ok, rubbed not destroyed and unusable. I’ll provide pic later. But should it come off anyway?

Personally, I'd say it's bound to happen and a non-issue. That coating wasn't really a huge perk on my sticks, and I can't imagine that losing a little of it around the wear points will impact whatever effectiveness it has on noise dampening.

Today, attached 2 steps on Dan-o ocb to tree , then set up Ambush about level with steps ( steps and platform separate), when moving from platform to steps the platform would shift.

I'm guessing there is a great opportunity to still make "the perfect platform". I love my Predator but I am new to saddle hunting and not used to it yet. The idea of a bigger platform was attractive to me but I wouldn't pay $300 for the Ambush as its currently delivered.
I would love to have oodles of cash to play around with a bunch of prototypes, invite a bunch of people from Saddlehunter.com down to my property and stand on platforms all day. Sounds like a blast and I think "the perfect platform" is out there somewhere yet to be made.
The problem is that the "perfect platform" is in the eye of the beholder and whats perfect for me is not perfect for you.

Long rant for me trying to say - I wish there was a bigger platform than the Predator that is as solid on a tree as the Predator is!! (hint to Tethrd team for creating Predator XL)

Hint noted

I still haven't gotten a new bolt. Has everyone been contacted by the company because I have not? If I don't get it by tomorrow, I'll order a Versa button from DanO.

Something I noticed with my Beast sticks is that the standoffs' teeth are angled a bit. The assembly instructions indicate that the angle should "angle up". I'm wondering if filing the teeth of the Ambush similar to the Beast sticks standoffs would make much difference.
Mine maybe put together wrong. I just put them together. No instructions.

I got my XOP versa button today. I am still waiting on my return label though.

Standing on mine now. No movement. It’s tricky to cam, I will say that.

I have and received my button. I suggest you send them an email or give them a call.

Hey guys, just talked to Andrae. They are sending new post to anyone that is having issues. The new post will be machined instead of water jetted. The holes will be centered and everything will be right in the world. Also, I asked him about the two small holes that are closer together. They are for stacking your sticks vertically. He said to take off the buckle strap place it on the two prongs and pull it tight and the sticks won't move. He said he runs his sticks vertical and Brad runs his horizontal. Just like everyone else said they have moved manufacturers and he is not happy that these were sent out the. They are also putting a video together on how to properly set it up. He told me Brad has been hunting with the same model we have for two weeks straight and he say's it's good to go. So with all that said, I'm hanging on to mine.

This has been painful, but at least LWCG appears to be doing all they can at this point to try and make things right.
