You haven't experienced true frustration until you've BUILT a house... or more accurately hired someone to build it for you! Went through that processs two years ago... I feel your pain!

Honestly the worst part was dealing with the bank. After that dealing with the GC and subcontractors was easy by comparison. Only real slip-ups we had were weather and slacker inspectors taking 2-3 weeks to come and inspect after work was done.
 
I can’t sit here and tell all of these new guys to be patient. I will say once you receive your gear most of you will be happy. I can say that Greg and Ernie are stand up guys and tethrd is not a myth. There hasn’t been another full update since 8/18 because the last one said shipping delayed until mid September. Hopefully the update today will be great. These delays have hurt tethrd more than anyone. There was a tremendous amount of momentum going into this. These delays hurt them to. Not only the anxiety they feel about guys deservedly wanting their stuff but what would it have been worth to have everyone that ordered to have their gear in July and on social media talking about how awesome it is and how it’s going to be a game changer this season. You can’t put a dollar amount on that. So my hopes for today is that the update is good news and that little mail truck on the tethrd news page gets moving in the right direction. Has no one else noticed that it’s been going backwards for three weeks now?

Guy I work with just went through that headache. I know one day my wife and I want to build. I know its gonna drive me crazy. Or rather SHE is going to drive me crazy because she will be stressed by the contractor. I reckon once its done though its worth it. At least that's what I'll tell myself.
 
I thought I would try on here to get some help, I may be going about it the wrong way. I ordered the mantis package, but do not need the tree tether, made a mistake and am just trying to get it corrected. I have sent two emails, none answered yet. I get I made the mistake, but just want it fixed before things are shipped and have to deal with getting a refund and shipping it back. Any other option of contacting someone??

Website and Facebook are the best ways to reach out. Try a private message on Facebook, I"d say have your order number ready.

Built my house with my owns hands, my wife helped. If you want to quiet down the wife... get her dirty and tired too. Suddenly small details won't matter as much.

I tried Facebook 10 days ago and got nothing but an auto reply then I sent again yesterday and finally got an answer from a human but they said that they will contact me soon... lol so yeah Umm good luck

I sent them an email through the website. It took about 2 days for a response. I’m sure they are getting lots of emails and questions. Maybe they are just too busy packing and shipping mantises :sunglasses::sunglasses:
 
Damn. Update is saying "expect that by the end of September, we’ll be fully caught up on current orders". Never ending time extensions

Nothing to be sorry about. I’ve still got climbers and lock ons to hunt with. Yeah I want my new toys but it’s not the end of the world. If this is my biggest setback of hunting season then it’s all good.
 
There was supposed to be one today but I haven't seen one. That probably means they have no new information to share. It's all good. It'll happen. Like most of us here, I have options.

Getting close fellas! Greg called and said not to worry. He hopped on a plane to help Ernie unpack all the boxes but the flight got delayed due to storm in gulf. He finally got aboard and the plane has been stuck on runway ever since due to an unruly passenger. His phone is stuck in airplane mode and can’t send out updates. He said he’s fine though and we can all be assured the mantises are gonna be on our doorsteps after tomorrow. That’s the way I understood it anyway. The phone call was breaking up real bad. I’m pretty sure he said it was Greg and not Craig. Anyway it’s one day closer!!!
