Maybe there is a thread on this already, but what are guys doing to haul in the predator platform? I'm strapping mine to the outside of my backpack. Not bad for going in and up. My issue is with getting back down. Seems I need to find a better way to get it back onto my backpack again on the way down. Problem is, I'm wearing my backpack by the time I come across the platform on the way down.
I carry mine in my pack going to tree. To ascend and descend the tree I carry it with a qlipter. Night ize gear ties would work too.

I hang mine from a paracord loop on my saddle. I take the platform off on my way down hang it on my saddle and then when I hit the ground, I put it in my pack.

Same process in reverse on the way up.

Ya i tried that but with my sticks and platform hanging off my saddle, a lot of clanking going on.

I would tell you can run separate pull cord for it, or get yourself a small grappling hook.

Do not carry it on your back for safety reasons. I am not even a fan Of carrying sticks on para cord loops on the harness. If you come down they can impale you or you could break your back back.

How many sticks are you trying to carry on your saddle? I put a loop on my left for my Predator platform (which I also have a fleece slip cover over platform), and a loop on my right side for one sticks. I set my first stick and then temporarily set second sticks a little higher then first. I climb up on first stick, put my lineman's belt on, grab the second stick and move it to where I want it and set it... then climb up and set 3rd stick (I sue a moveable aider on each stick as I climb and I use 22 inch sticks. I have ZERO contact between sticks and platform even on a leaning tree.

On the way done I drop my sticks to the ground. I only loop them on the way up. I use 3 sticks most of the times.

Isn't that noisy?

I have done the same for years. It all depends on your style of hunting. If you're a big buck serial killer who hunts beds I don't think i'd do it. IF you're someone who just hunts fresh sign and feed trees, I don't think it'll matter. I rarely hunt the same place twice.

I don’t hunt same place no more than 2 times. After that I am gone.

Yea not really worried cause I want be back till the next year. Unless I want to come back. Then I leave the sticks in place. I have 6 sets of muddy sticks just in case.

Before I opened the package I was thinking "OH YEAH THE BUTT WARMER IS HERE!!!!" which would rule because my butt was COLD this morning... but then, I opened it... perhaps equally awesome, if not better! Some fantastic swag items arrived! My wife is jealous about the hoodie, so I told her she could wear it from time to time :)

Were you one of the first 10 orders?

I ordered everything mantis, predator, ropes, and pouches and butt warmer all May 27 and 28... I added more ropes in August. I have received nothing yet. Patient for a long time... but getting frustrated when I see many others who ordered much later get their gear. OH well... free trade and
I guess America first policy is in effect.

Yeah that sucks. I ordered may 27 as well and got my large Mantis less than 2weeks ago. Hopefully it doesn't get stuck in customs!!! I've sent packages to Australia for Christmas that were received by friends in July...6 plus months in customs.

Did you get a shipping notice ahead of time?

I'm betting customs is holding you up.
