Mid-summer surprise

Based on this rub, I'd say his velvet is already off.
I’m in South Georgia and 15 years ago it seemed that there were rubs everywhere the first couple weeks ofAugust. Last few years there have been a few still in velvet mid September.

...global warming? lol. if its been warm winters the last few years maybe theyre dropping later than usual. i dunno how much that really makes a difference.

I'm in Southeast GA. Almost all of mine are out of velvet by Sept. I typically start seeing shedding around the 3rd week of Aug. This rub is definitely the biggest I've seen for this early in the year.
