SRT=?I can't pick one climbing method. Right now my preference in order is:
1.) Spurs
2.) SRT
3.) Wild Edge Steps with Red's climbing method.
4.) Sticks with aiders
Spurs I can only use on a few properties
I used SRT a lot this year. I love how quiet and efficient it is.
Red's wild edge steps entered late in the game but it's a winner.
Sticks are OK but I hate carrying them.
Almost all sits I utilized a small seat platform. If needed because tree was greater than 8 inch DBHH(Diameter Breast Hunting Height), I added a Stepp or Ameristeps on the opposite side to maintain 360 shooting.
Exception are a recent hunt where I used Stepps as a platform and another hunt with the Guidos web with spurs where I didn't use a platform at all. Just sat down and relaxed. Spurred around as needed.

I got it and used it one sit love it. I tried the bullman bros steps with a ratchet and diddnt like them so i ordered a platform kit from ernie and xop. So ill stick to the platform till i get conformable with saddle. Which I absolutelylove the kestrel

What didn't you like about the bullman's bro? I've been eyeing them but haven't committed to them yet. I was thinking if I was gonna use them I may as well just stand on bolts, but the wider profile of them seemed nice. I'm really pulling for the guys here to make a Klemz style platform.
They slip and fold bad under side pressure. I wouldnt buy if i were you
They are dangerous to me

That’s exactly my climbing method, except I use 4 sticks. I put the first one on & loosely put the second one on right above it. Clip in & run up.All in one trip for me. My platform stays strapped to my pack. I have loops of paracord tied to my saddle (one on each hip). These loop over my top step and standoff bracket so my sticks hang one on each side. First stick goes on he tree and up I go. At top of last stick I remove and hang my pack and then unstrap my platform from my pack and hang it. As plinker22 mentioned Diy sportsman has some good videos on this.

See my reply to your other post.Ok i sat tonight and my new saddle is so comfortable but i guess i lean too much my feet were getting numb. I think i have to sit more down it it. Does tether placement allow or disallow this i had the tether over my head tonight and it made me lean i guess
It was great just the foot numbness was the problem
Any advice?
