About 4 years ago I sold my set of 4 leverage sticks to my hunting buddy for 50.00. He needed sticks and didn’t want me to give it to him. His 4th child was born that next hunting season and put them up.

Fast forward to this past week. I asked him if he still had them and if so could I buy them back. He sold them to me for 40.00 and today I modified one. I also used 1/4 amsteel years ago and this time I correctly modified the amsteel.

I cut the stick 3” below my second step and put the stand-off 1 1/2” below the now bottom step. The steps are 15" apart and the total length of the step is 18". I then took my Yates big wall aider and set the stick almost six feet and climbed up. It worked great. I have three more to modify and the great thing is that it almost fits in my pop-up28.

Got all four sticks cut and modified.
Stick 1= 1lb 15.3 ounces
Stick 2= 1lb 15.6 ounces
Stick 3= 1lb 13.9 ounces
Stick 4= 1lb 14.7 ounces

All four sticks =7lbs 11.5 ounces

With Yates 5 step big wall aider total: 8 lbs 11.1 ounces

For comparison my one muddy that I was going to use for 1 sticking is 3 lbs 2.5 ounces.

I'm stoked now for the season to get here...plus I just got my replacement areo flex...

And best of all @Nutterbuster will appreciate this...it fits inside my pop-up 28.

I'm going with the versa strap from Tethrd.
1lb 9.7 oz per stick.
1.1 ounce per strap.

6.7 pounds for four sticks.

You could lose another 12 ounces by removing a top and bottom step to be more like the lone wolf sticks.
