Yep. Been playing guitar for over 20 years. Electric and acoustic. Just bought some new gear that he kinda reignited my want to play a lot lol

That's about how long I'd say I've been playing guitar. Picked up the mandolin not long ago. Really liking it. Did fool with the banjo some, but never could get it down. By the way, love your all's channel on YouTube!

I've played various forms of guitar (acoustic, electric, classical, flamenco) off and on for the past twenty years or so. Unfortunately I managed to put a chef's knife through my left index finger (directly where the string/callous goes) a couple of years ago and got nerve damage from it. Now everytime I play it feels like the cut is on fire/re-opening. I haven't played but a handfull of times since :disappointed:

I have played guitar for 16 years. I have taken some long breaks. After all those years, Im still
Not very good.

I’ve been playing guitar for about 35 years. Electric/ acoustic all sorts of styles. Mandolin for about 10 years and lap steel for about the same. Don’t know what I’d do without it. Has saved me, given me joy, connected me to a bunch of great people and I’ve had a ton of fun playing for others. Its something where you are always a student and can approach things with a beginners mind. Music and playing music is such a great thing.

I'm a banjo picker, on/off for nearly 40 years. Never really mastered it though. Should be way better than I am. My 3 boys all play guitar, so we do have some nice bluegrass jam sessions occasionally.

So how do you know when the band stage is level? The banjo player will be drooling equally out of both sides of his mouth... :p

Been learning how to play the banjo for the last several months using banjo ben clarks videos....Love the banjo....I like bluegrass but also like Steve n seagull, Irish traditional music and pretty much anything done with a banjo...
