How do you like the Ruger inline ML? At least the bolt and 3P safety makes me think it's a M77 MLDefinitely helps to have a platform to reload on
best of luck be safe. This is third weekend in mn. Sat all day last Saturday. Will be sitting all day tomorrow. Got 2 tags to fill
I load before climbing but leave 209 primer out till altitudeThinking of doing this next season -- do you load your first shot before you climb? Or do it once you are in the tree?
thx
I’ve had the Ruger 77 for many years and killed a lot of deer with it. It’s too bad they stopped making them. Great, strong and accurate for sureHow do you like the Ruger inline ML? At least the bolt and 3P safety makes me think it's a M77 ML
I own a T/C Encore two Knight Elites and a 10ML-II smokeless. LOVE me some inline ML's.
And BH209 is the best non-smokeless BP sub I have ever tried and I tried them all. I'd pay for BH209 and turn down any other BP sub for free.

During the season I'll leave it in the garage for temperature reasons as well.I load mine the night before the opener and leave it loaded without primer, when not hunting, until I shoot it. I like to keep it in the truck at camp instead of bringing it in. I feel this helps with moisture control due to temperature changes.

I load on the ground , but pull my rifle up barrel down, and it is a blot action, so the bolt is pulled back. I guess you could load it, and leave the cap out, but barrel downThinking of doing this next season -- do you load your first shot before you climb? Or do it once you are in the tree?
