My controversial view on tracking dogs

People have been hunting with dogs for a long time man; way before anybody here was alive...

It’s ILLEGAL to hunt with dogs in WI, always has been. So no, in modern times they most definitely have not been hunting deer with dogs.

Brw, i expect you have no less than 3 Trophy Buck pics to post up being it’s Dec now? So let’s see em, post em up as i’ve not been around since Sept to keep up?

Rut hasn't started yet. Fooled with a few in early season but never got a shot. Duck hunting and irritating internet loudmouths now until the action heats up.

I'm assuming you've had a good season? I missed your all caps posts. :)

It's not just a soap box you're on, you harbor a deep disdain for anybody you deem as not being on your skill level. Evolution and growth as a hunter be damned. It seems like you've crossed an experience threshold in your mind and now seek recognition from strangers on the internet.

Absolute horse ****.

You couldn’t be any more wrong. I’m barely on this forum for starters. Definitely don’t need your blessings to validate me that’s for sure.

My deep disdain is not for those with a lower skill level it’s for those unwilling to learn anything who always settle for taking shortcuts. The ones forever reaching for that easy button or worse, using that easy button (ex. tracking dogs) as an excuse for WHY they don’t have to get any better (ex. doing their own blood trailing). They should pick up a less rigorous hobby than hunting like video games.

Killed my Buck Oct 14. Waiting on Jan 1 until all the orange clad amateurs toting rifles and shotguns are done wandering around messing each others hunts up to go kill a doe or two in the deep late season.

I’ll be expecting those multiple trophy buck pics seeing as you felt it would be easy being mature bucks are “smooth brained” and all that. Surprised you haven’t killed one since Sept as dumb as they are??? Why ya waiting on the rut just go kill em.

You win, brother. Swampdonkey wee wee heap big. Nutterbuster wee wee tiny small.

I thought it seemed odd that everyone on this forum I had engaged with up until today was so reasonable, thoughtful and level-headed. Figured there had to be at least someone here with an inferiority complex that would need to act out and bully. I wasn't wrong.

Sorry you take me as telling you to get better as bullying but i’m not your mother and father. I’m not here to tell you how great you are and how awesome it is that you prefer dogs over actually developing woodsmanship as all hunters should do.

I’ll leave the coddling to them. Be a better woodsman and get out there and track.
