My custom CRÜZR review

Not that I know of, he called it bottomland like when we talked about options. I think it’s just an option they made in house.

Pretty good description. I thought it looked like bottomland and saw they have bottomland hats and such, but the saddle pattern had more break and was more grey than usual. Really a nice pattern, I’d say about perfect for a saddle.

An autoblock is anything used to automatically back up a rappel. I think you mean the Hollowblock, which is a Sterling cord made exclusively for that purpose. In that case you’re absolutely correct.

Yep, I was thinking hollowblock.

Did you have any trouble with the ease of adjusting the waist belt. I just got mine and its a bear to adjust. I can barely do it with two hand. I find myself wanting to adjust that a lot.... tight for walking , looser for sitting ect. I came from a tethrd mantis where I could adjust with ease with one hand. I miss that.

I had seen this review before. I have no issue at all with the left side. The other side is more fixed but a lot easier than the fixed side of the phantom, for example.

Superb review.
I was all set to buy a Cruz XC then I stumbled across theTX5 and are patiently (like I have any other choice) waiting until I get an opportunity to order one.

Thought about the Tx-5....but figured that turnaround time, if there was a warranty issue....would be long.

Thanks for bringing that issue to light never considered that.
Did you by chance speak with anyone at TX5 Saddles about your concerns pertaining to turn around time for warranty work?
I will try to message them at their FB page. I need to know because I would prefer to avoid waiting 8-16 weeks of not longer to place a saddle order, and find out during our discussion any warranty work however unlikely it might be would require more than a week to 10 days to be completed.

That thing is awesome! I've ordered three of these things so far haha (1 black and 2 gray), for me and other people... I've had the entire bottom webbing strap sewn with custom "loose" molle on each one for a minimal (in my opinion) upcharge, but I don't really use the "loose" molle on the top webbing, and those gear loops are a great idea. I'm really digging that camo. I would currently recommend Cruzr to anyone for comfort/quality/communication. Here I go again, haha... **I'M NOT AFFILIATED WITH THEM, JUST A HAPPY CUSTOMER**

nope never contacted them. I just assumed that since they only produce saddles on a very limited basis...that any repairs/etc may take awhile
