Well I created a post the other day about recieving my Knaider/Swaider set and a little about the mods. I didn't get all the pictures and info at that time so I decided to make this post.

The pack I have is something I picked up a lot of years ago. I actually have two of them. They were part of an archery hip quiver setup.

I weighed the pack empty at .06 lbs. I added what you see pictured (4 WE Stepps, Knaider/Swaider, gear strap, pruners and saw, and shoulder strap) After all that was put in it came to 6.6 lbs.

I use a Badlands Superday pack that houses my Sys Hauler with Mantis Saddle and ropes. It also holds my Predator Platform and all the other items. Thjs whole system comes to 21 lbs.

I wrapped my Stepps in Vet tape and love how it makes it easy to remove quietly.

I love this bag over the original WE bag for a couple reasons. The stepps just plain fit and do not want to fall out when climbing up and down.

I'm still working on my system but for now I'll be wearing my saddle in. Once at the tree I will detach the smaller bag and sling it over my shoulder. Pull out my haul line and attch to my sasdle and to my bow. Put my backpack back onn then I'll put my Knaider/Swaider on amd set my first Stepp.

Once all that is done I will climb to height, install my platform, hook up my tether and step on up. Once I am somewhat set in the saddle I will pull my hear strap from the WE bag, strap it to the tree, remove my pack and hang it. Then I will haul the bow up and settle in for the hunt.

I do not have a time yet from the ground up, but will see what I come up with next time I climb.

I know this is a wordy post and think I have everything listed, but figured I would share my newbie setup.

Do you reach into pack to get platform out or what do you do with the backpack when setting platform?
I leave the waist belt hooked up, slip the shoulder straps off, swing it around, pull ot out, then swing it around and slip it back on.

I would like to use the second pack in place of the badlands for my extra gear but i havent been able to figure out a way to comfortably carry them to my stand. There has to be some way to add backpack straps to them. I can strap my Predator platform to the back if one of them but using a single shoulder strap would be murder on the shoulders when having to go any distance.

I'm open to ideas!

That is a nice little setup you have. I would like to find a small pack to hold my knaider and swaider and stepps like your pack

I got lucky they work out. I am still brainstorming about ways to carry both as comfortable as I carry my Badlands.
