What is everyone's that has used the Mystery Ranch popup packs on what size you prefer for saddle hunting? How has your experience been with any of these packs?
 
I’m fairly happy with the 28, if your a guy who likes to pack a lot of gear better go with the newer 30! I pack most everything I need in the 28 including my camera gear, stuff the rest in my pockets.
 
I have the 28 or 30? It is plenty big. I have recently gone back to my treehouse 20.
 
I have the 28 as well. Plenty room for gear inside the pack itself and light outer layers. If I’m bringing thicker jackets I slide them in the meat shelf and cinch it down tight, I think it carries better that way instead of trying to force it inside the pack.

Yeah me too, I put my big layers lashed on to the side of the pack. Most of time my platform is bw the pack & the frame. Just depends
