Anyone have any experience and/or opinions on the Mystery Ranch Treehouse as a pack?

I’m interested in this as well!

I bought one and sent it back, it has some nice features. The bag is built to have structure, IMO it has to much structure. I did not care for it at all. Nor the Sitka Tool Box.
Update. I’m gonna try one again since I’ve gone to one sticking. My previous comments were based on using 3-4 sticks

That’s exactly what I was assuming and why I’ve heard off. I may try and sell some things and purchase the kifaru shape charge.

I can’t decide what pack to go with. I currently use a MR Pop up28. I was hoping the treehouse would fit what I wantl

I just bought one and I think it’s awesome. The layout is awesome. Nice organization on the inside. I like the molle straps on the inside and sides. Plenty of room on the inside for all my stuff. I carry 4 uncut helium sticks on the back no problem. I like how rigid it is. It makes a great gear dump on the side of the tree.
I also have a mystery ranch cabinet that is very loud in the tree. The treehouse is not.

Well I just ordered one today . If I like it, I’ll be putting my Pop Up 28 in the classifieds!

Not to get too off topic, but was there something you didn't like about the Pop Up 28? I've started looking into that model. The Treehouse looked appealing too. I'll look forward to your opinion with both.

I love all my MR packs, but I wanted a little more room than the Pop up offers and I don’t haul meat so the shelf isn’t needed for me. If I’m hauling meat, it will be my Pintler getting the nod

I’m doing my first hunt with it this Thursday morning. I’ll try to post some pictures and more opinions.

I have a pop up 28 and it feels like a smaller capacity than the specs say. The treehouse is only 100+ cu in larger so they seem pretty comparable. I’d be curious to hear your feedback after you get some use with the new treehouse.

Cheers

The treehouse worked great! It is very convenient. Only thing that I didn’t like was how far it sticks off my back trying to crawl through cover because it is pretty rigid (stalking a doe on the way in). However, any bag will do that when full.
It seems like a bottomless pit. I had a jacket, hoodie, full pack of gear, ring of steps and my saddle on the inside 4 helium steps on the outside.

I don’t have a pop up but I have a cabinet. The treehouse is much more quiet. Most of the fabric is the same but they put softer fabric in specific areas and used quieter zippers. The top lid is latched with buckles and a little hook and loop (not Velcro).
The cabinet seems to crinkle and crunch with every step. The tree house does not.

How’s the material for the treehouse? Same as pop up?

I have a Treehouse and it is my favorite pack that I have ever used. It is a little bulky but I don't mind it. It is very well made and durable and they covered every detail in design. The fold open lid and frame are a game changer. Great pack and highly recommended.

Don't get me wrong, I love Mystery Ranch, I have the mule with a few accessories, but I'm looking for easy access when I'm in a tree and I don't see that with any of their packs, even the cabinet. Today I ordered the Eberestock X2. I'm hoping it will carry my mukluks as well as my heavy clothes this winter plus have easy access for my everyday stuff like rangefinder, calls, stuff like that. It looks like the answer.

Does anyone know if the Ridge Runner fits inside? If so, any pics?
