Need a better haul rope solution

I've spent too much time untangling my haul rope at the bottom of my tree, or before I climb down. Seems like no matter how I coil it up before I put it away, it's always a hot mess the next time I go to get it out. What have you guys found to work well? Looking for something light weight and efficient.

Doyles. I'm a lightweight freak, but a Doyles huntin hoist is well worth the weight considering the HUGE convenience. You just clip the biner to your weapon and climb. When you get the the top you just pull it up. No winding, no tangling.

Same here. Some things are worth the extra weight and the Doyles is one of those items. Mine lives inside my pack with the line running out the bottom. I never have to worry about it getting tangled. It's always there ready to go!

But while I've got y'all, what about gear hangers? i probably spend 10 minutes total screwing in two or three different hanging hooks. Seems like the strap style would be more convenient. Nutterbuster, do you have details on yours anywhere on the forum already?

Whoopie sling with little s-hooks and a Clipter for the bow. Weighs nothing and sets up in seconds.

I did the G2Outdoors gear hanger thing with two Hawk Helium straps, plus the S biners and a Clipter. Agree with Peterk1234, weighs nothing and sets up in seconds. Anyone need any screw-in bow holders or tree hooks??? Lol

If that is it, gonna be a hard sell for me. I like the idea of straps or a sling with S biners for the gear, but the majority of the benefit to a bow hanger is you can position your bow anywhere, away from the tree. It does suck to screw in depending on the tree, but so damn convenient.

It's on here somewhere. Basically I just have a piece of 550 and a camjam, a la G2. I made two very small wire hooks to go on it to hold my pack and weapon. It's about the size of a golf ball and can be set up in seconds.

Sodbuster, have you used these? If so, do the biner caps stay on well?
